Our Programs

Our classes go far beyond relaxation and yoga.

While moments of zen and movement are part of the experience, they’re just a small piece of the bigger picture.

Through wisdom-building, heartfelt storytelling, mindfulness, and playful, evidence-based tools, we teach kids practical skills that stick to help navigate the good, the bad, and the messy moments of life.

Along the way, they build courage, resilience and a deep connection to their authentic selves.

All programs offered by Young Warrior Hearts can be adapted for one-to-one support and private group sessions for families, schools, and community service organisations.*

Young Warrior Hearts also facilitates regular workshops throughout the school term and during school holidays.

*For self-managed or plan-managed arrangement with the NDIA, our programs are claimable under NDIS Capacity Building – Improved daily living. It is advisable to consult with your NDIS Provider about access to funding.

Wisdom & Growth through Story

  • Our emotional growth & resilience programs support children & teens with practical skills in managing life’s challenges, using a big picture approach with story.

    We believe children can learn to see their messy periods as paths for growth!

  • Programs run for 5 weeks and focus on a particular area of need each term.

    Children and Teens develop knowledge & skills in:

    • building confidence

    • Addressing personal ‘problem-stories’

    • Developing healthy relationships

    • Self-awareness & awareness of others

    • Tapping into intuition and inner voice

  • Your kiddo will learn to:

    • Understand their emotions more deeply

    • Build resilience

    • Tap into their imagination

    • See themselves as the hero in their story.

  • Young Warrior Hearts yoga programs supports children and teens to strengthen their body, focus their mind on the present, and connect to their spirit.

    These programs are delivered using a creative and inclusive approach to encourage compassion to self and others.

  • Group programs run for 5 weeks and incorporate a variety of self-development themes such confidence-building, empowerment, and resilience.

  • Children learn knowledge and practical skills in:

    - How our body, mind and spirits connect differently dependent on the seasons.
    - Age-appropriate movements for various physical & mental issues
    - Wellbeing education and empowerment for children to be attuned to their own wellness.
    - Breathing techniques to support clarity, focus, & stress management.
    - Basic meditation & mindfulness tools for day to day use.
    - How to create a home practice!

    Young Warrior Hearts also offers Yoga Therapy practices in private settings for those children needing additional support.

  • The Enchanted Child workshops support children & teens to overcome challenges and increase resilience through stories.

  • The Enchanted Child workshops are held monthly through the school term and run for 90 minutes.

    Following the workshops, children and teens are supported to continue their journey at home with a range of online sessions and practical exercises.

  • Workshops will support children to:

    • see challenges as growth

    • build confidence in problem-solving skills and resilience

    • connect with archetypal characters that promote growth

    • use their wisdom in different life areas

    • nourish their mind, body and soul with practical exercises

The Enchanted Child Workshops
